Born in Latvia, Katrina Aleksa lived, studied and worked in the UK, Italy and Spain by the time she was 20. Katrina has an infectious passion for all things art.
Since completing a degree in curating and art business at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London, she has provided Fine Art consultation and brokered Fine Art deals for a number of years. Katrina now travels and consults across the world, particularly with contacts in America, Asia and Australia.
To compliment her career as an art dealer, she founded Predella House in 2015 - an institute committed to the support of artists and encouraging new buyers in contemporary art. As well as supporting Tate patrons, Katrina is a co-founder of Association of Women in the Arts (AWITA) - a non-profit networking group established to advance the careers of women in the visual arts, and to promote change in the cultural landscape.
